The Originals ID Collar carries your dog's name and your phone number embroidered directly into high-strength nylon webbing. There is no tag to fall off and lose, or jingle annoyingly. If someone finds your dog, they can read your number and call you.

Both the name and the number are included in the price. Nothing extra to add at checkout.

Why an embroidered collar

Why identification matters

Australian research estimated that more than 200,000 stray and surrendered dogs entered pounds, shelters and rescue groups in a single year, and that 101,037 of them were reclaimed by their owners. Getting a dog home depends on someone being able to work out who they belong to.

A microchip does that at a vet or a pound. An embroidered collar does it at the front gate, for the neighbour who picks your dog up first. Use both.

Choosing your colours

Pick a webbing colour and an embroidery colour separately, so you can make it readable or make it match. Our guide to what belongs on a dog collar covers what to embroider if you are unsure.

One honest note on colour: Hot Pink, Purple and Green are fluro dyed and are not colour fast. In constant direct sun they will fade. Every other colour holds.

Is this the right collar?

Yes, for most dogs. It is our standard everyday ID collar and the one most people want.

Choose differently if: your dog swims or spends time at the beach, where the Aqua Dog has a marine-grade stainless steel D-ring and a neoprene backing. What gets embroidered? Your dog's name and your phone number, both included. You can add more under the personalisation options.

Does this replace microchipping? No. Keep your dog microchipped and keep the registration details current. An embroidered collar is the fast, visible layer on top of that, for whoever finds your dog first.
